Linen fabric, “Trace Away by Unique” for the design. I will use grey embroidery silk, same company as before.
I have saved these, and printed out the patterns for the blocks. I will be working on these over the next year, as I want to make this for myself. Although I’ve never paper pieced before, this quilt means a lot to me, and I really want this.
These are pics of the original quilts. I plan to take the blocks from both quilts, along with the embroidery I’m working on and a few other paper pieced blocks from other sites, combine them and make a quilt that embodies the world of Tolkien from my point of view.
